Beginnings

I decided to start this blog to write about my path to a healthier life. I have been a huge fan of writing a journal this past year and also getting in shape, eating healthier, and being more mindful. So I thought, why not combine the two and start a blog centered around those ideas? I tried writing a blog about music and movies, two subjects I particularly enjoy, but lately I have found myself enjoying lifestyle blogs on healthy living and mindfulness, such as The Minimalists and Zen Habits (two of my favorites). I still like to read about movies and music but those are things I like to experience more than read about. So, in my journey into minimalism and mindfulness myself, I would like to share certain milestones and challenges into building a lifestyle that makes me happy, and hopefully my stories can help others find more meaningful lives for themselves.
